   The Polymer Clayspot

The Polymer Clayspot:

Methods of achieving special effects, imitating other substances, and handling problem situations with polymer clay abound. Here are a few of my favorites, techniques I use often in my own work:

August 1997 The look of stone:
Use polymer clay to make carved, polished, and roughly-textured stone.
February 1997 The seven petaled rose:
Create large and small roses for earrings, pendants, and decorative additions to objects like boxes.
January 1997 Create faux turquoise:
Make natural-looking veined turquoise to use for beads, boxes, and other shapes.
